When it comes to bras, the days of simple support are long gone. Now, it seems there is a bra for just about every occasion. Don’t believe me? Consider the following partial list of bras available.

Plunge Bras are very sexy. These are low cut bras where part of the band joins the cup below the nipple level. Great under low-cut tops. Accentuates the cleavage in a big way.

Molded Bras have machine made cups designed to mirror the natural shape of a woman’s breast for comfort and support. Usually include double material or some padding to hide the nipples. A very popular bra that gives extra support because of the molding.

Padded bras give a fuller looking bust and great cleavage with the help of padding in the cups. 29% of women own this bra, which is a much smaller number than many people would assume.

Maternity Bras are designed to be practical and supportive. They are nimble enough for allowing breastfeeding with a drop down cup that can be easily opened. Many women like a maternity bra that opens in the front.

Multi-position bras detachable straps that are worn criss-cross, strapless, regular, halterneck, one shoulder, removed, and more. These bras are perfect for just about any outfit.

When you want a smaller profile, minimizer bras are the answer. It reduces the bustline by redistributing the breast tissue on the sides. Most reduce the bust line up to an inch. Many of these styles tend to flatten the breasts.

Demi Bras cover half of the breast and nipples. They give you a straight bust line without the extra push-up effect. They use shorter wires, which are more comfortable and great for lower cut dresses and blouses.

Full cull bras are designed for big busted women. They are designed to maximize support and comfort. These bras do not necessarily go up in band size. If you are a DD and above, you can find your cup size here.

The brassiere has come a very long way in the last 20 years. Don’t short change yourself by using one type of bra for all occassions. Investigate your options and improve your look and comfort.
