It is important that you measure from the inside of the edge or else you will include the thickness of your pan.
Next we have the pan’s depth. To measure the depth of the pan you simple put a ruler straight up from the bottom of the pan to the top. Make sure the ruler is straight and not slanted or else your measurement will be incorrect. To find out a pan’s volume you should pour pre-measured cups of water into the pan until the water reaches the brim of the pan.
