Abdominal fat is equally risky for both women and men. Women who have higher proportions of abdominal fat in their bodies are at a higher risk of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. In case of men, researchers have observed that, the amount of abdominal fat in their bodies is directly proportional to their risk of a heart failure. For many years, doctors know that apple shaped people who store fat around their stomach have a higher risk of chronic conditions compared to pear shaped people, those who store fat in their thighs and buttocks.

Doing strength training is one of the best ways to lose abdominal fat fast. With strength training you build up your muscle mass and at the same time you are increasing your metabolism.

Consumption of a healthy diet: A healthy diet plan has to be in the forefront of any weight loss exercise. Regular exercise with proper diet helps to lose weight on a steady scale. Abdominal fat can be a fact of history. It all depends on how you make the right moves.

Since it is impossible to lose fat at a particular spot, we must lose fat from our whole body. This can be done easily by doing cardio exercises such as running and swimming. Walking is also a good exercise to lose weight given that you have time to walk for at least an hour a day. Besides, you will also need to have a weight loss diet.

Cardio, crunches and strength training are the ways to tone your abdominal area and get that six-pack you have always wanted. This is the key to burning that excess fat that is always hiding on your belly. This can take some time and self discipline but everyone knows that the abdominal area is the hardest area but once you reduce the belly fat all you have to do is maintain your defined muscles and your new healthy diet which brought you there.
