Since the 60’s women have been using the birth control pills for pregnancy prevention. The choice to take the birth control pill will require continuous monitoring of any hair loss just in case the need for an alternative is warranted. It is always a possibility that there may be a more effective form of birth control that doesn’t allow for hair loss.
