There are several ways in which you can approach a 7 day cleansing diet. You can if you want choose to detoxify your body by drinking just freshly squeezed fruit juices along with filtered water for the period of time that the cleanse is taking place.
The other way is to omit all kinds of processed foods along with meats, and then eat only raw foods for the period of 7 days when you are using the cleansing diet. This is one of the most sensible approaches to take with a 7 day cleansing diet and is likely to be very effective. It also means that you are actually providing your body with the opportunity to avoiding foods which are less healthy for you.
If you are not sure what your 7 day cleansing diet should be and would like to try one then below we offer some ideas which you may find useful.
Idea 1 - Omit all meat, fish and dairy products from your diet for a week. There are plenty of other foods which are just are tasty and nutritious. If you feel you need to have something to add substance to your diet you can choose to include tofu instead as an alternative to your meat.
Idea 2 - Throughout the 7 day cleansing diet it is important that you eat as much of your fruit and vegetables in their raw state. Plus try and eat organic ones as well as this reduces down the amount of chemicals being able to enter your body. Also you should avoid drinking bottled fruit juice and instead drink that which has been freshly squeezed.
Idea 3 - If you do need so of your food to be cooked then brown rice is ideal. This particular food is full of fiber and so will make you feel fuller much more quickly. Plus as with the fruit and vegetables you are eating try and make sure that the brown rice you use is of the organic variety.
Idea 4 - Following cleansing your body for 7 days you need to make sure that you don’t immediately return back to the dietary habits you had before. Instead over the coming week you need to gradually incorporate back into your diet those foods which you omitted and certainly in the first week you should only be eating meat and processed foods occasionally.
The thing you need to remember when it comes to a 7 day cleansing diet is you take things slowly and are gentle to yourself. Fasting certainly isn’t the best way to cleanse your body of toxins and other waste elements that can cause problems for your health. Also if you are someone with a health problem or who needs to take medication then you need to check with your doctor first to see if it is okay for you to do any kind of cleansing diet.
